From a thread.

You know, a while ago I actually thought of the contentment v.s. happy thing. I think my stance is, you can be contented, but you might not be happy. You can be happy, but there might still more things that you might want. In a sense, I don't think being happy and being contented is the same thing - nor, albeit it's gonna sound a bit cynical, can one truly be happy nor contented.

Who wouldn't want to eat, drink and be merry, live and let live? I would, too. But i just don't want to, twenty years down the road, look back and think of all the things I could have done. You know the Mark Twain quote i use so very often right.. I just think that now, when we are young, it's a good time to explore and discover. There will come a point in time when I'll think, okay this is enough, I want to settle down, I want to go home.

It's just that, a big part of me is secretly afraid that, home won't be there anymore.

Opportunity costs huh?

Friends, true friends, are blessings from God. They are there for you, they knock sense into you, they make you laugh, they humble you.
